The simple truth about Indian shoe sizing
Most shoes sold in India, by Indian brands and through the Indian retail market, use UK sizing. Indian size 8 equals UK size 8. They are the same.
Nicarlo Luxe uses UK/India sizing. Size 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 correspond directly to UK and Indian standard sizing.

How to measure your foot at home
- Stand on a piece of plain paper on a hard floor, not carpet.
- Trace the outline of your foot with a pencil held vertically, keeping it perpendicular to the paper throughout.
- Measure the distance from the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe in centimetres.
- Use the chart above to find your UK/India size.
- Always measure both feet. Most people have one foot slightly larger. Order the size that fits the larger foot.

Nicarlo Luxe shoes are sized in UK/India sizing and run true to size for most customers.
- If between sizes: order one size up. Leather stretches slightly with wear and a marginally larger shoe is better than a tight one.
- For wide feet: our penny and horsebit loafers accommodate standard to slightly wide feet. If you have significantly wide feet, order one size up.
- First-time leather loafer buyers: leather will mould to your foot within 2 to 3 wears. Initial tightness in a correctly sized pair is normal and resolves quickly.
